Great Plains Regional Medical Center Continues Free Community Education Series

Great Plains Regional Medical Center (GPRMC) will continue its free monthly education series, Community Connections, with a September session focused on financial literacy. 

This month’s event, “Building a Healthy Financial Future,” will take place Wednesday, Sept. 16 from noon to 1 p.m. in the meeting room located at the far end of the GPRMC cafeteria at 1801 W. 3rd St. in Elk City. The session will be presented by Justin Koch, CFP, CPWA, CEPA, wealth advisor and president of CopperSky Wealth, and Robert Stephens, CFP, AAMS, financial advisor with Edward Jones.

Community Connections features monthly presentations from GPRMC physicians and guest speakers covering a wide range of subjects, including health and wellness, finances, legal planning and more. Each session is free and open to the public. Snacks will be provided, and while RSVPs are encouraged, walk-ins are welcome.

Future sessions are planned for topics including ear, nose & throat care, women’s health, urology, surgery, community health, healthy lifestyle advice, insurance basics and legal planning.
